With this GoPro Cold Shoe Mount from Beneath the Surface, you can attach your GoPro action camera in its waterproof housing to the cold shoe mount on an underwater camera, housing, or support arm. This small accessory looks like a mini flex arm component with the standard GoPro connector at one end and the shoe connector at the other. Add this mount to your camera or camera system, and you'll be able to record video while simultaneously taking pictures.
