It can be used with any camera, housing, or tray-and-grip system that has an Ikelite quick-disconnect mount. The arm's extreme flexibility allows you to set up your lights or strobes in a wide variety of positions and play around with different angles and creative effects.

A built-in safety cable that runs through the entire arm ensures you will never lose your valuable equipment, even if you accidentally disconnect the arm. Additionally, the flex arm joints can be reattached underwater if one of them pops out of place.

Increase your creative lighting possibilities with this 14" Beneath the Surface Flex Arm, which attaches to an underwater camera housing tray or grip handle to give you a mounting point for strobes or video lights. The arm is equipped with a standard 1" ball mount that can be connected to an identical mount on top of your tray or grip by way of a ball joint clamp. It is a versatile support system made up of a bunch of connected bead segments, allowing it to bend in various ways so that you can position your light source in different spots and at different angles. The arm is compatible with strobes and lights that have a standard YS connector.

The arm has no base and attaches to these support accessories by way of a 1/4"-20, 5/16", or 8.0 mm screw. A 1/4"-20 screw is included, and the others are available separately. The arm allows flexible positioning of the light while shooting underwater, giving you a variety of possible lighting angles and positions.

The 14" Flex Arm for Sea & Sea / Olympus Strobes from Beneath the Surface is a flexible arm accessory for an underwater photography tray system. You can attach Sea & Sea and Olympus strobes to it and maneuver them for the purpose of photo and video lighting. Made of 1/2" (1.27 cm) Loc-Line tubing, the 14" (35.6 cm) long flex arm has a built-in security feature: A small stainless steel cable that gets connected from the arm base to the strobe head to prevent strobe loss.

The arm has no base and attaches to an underwater camera housing tray, bridge bar, or grip handle by way of an optional 1/4", 5/16", or 8.0 mm screw. It is lightweight and extremely versatile, bending this way and that to enable you to position your light in various places and at various angles.

Built for durability, the arm is made in the USA and features ends and a light mount that are machined out of solid Delrin bar stock. The arm offers a built-in, 1/16", vinyl-coated stainless steel safety cable that runs through the entire 12" length, ensuring that you will not lose your valuable lighting equipment--even if you accidentally disconnect the arm. To attach the light, first remove its ball mount if one is present. Using the hardware and wrench provided, attach the light to the arm with the 4mm x 16mm cap screw with the lock washer and the flat washer.
